Country Roads, Take Me Home: WVU Tailgate Van

West Virginia Tailgate VanJohn Stimer, who is one of our readers, and a giant West Virginia Football fan, sent us this 1988 Ford E150 Econoline Conversion Tailgate Van. Even though it is well over 20 years old, there are only 88,000 miles on the original engine, and it was actually bought for $1,800, which is a steal with that many miles.

Among the tailgating goodies are a flip down 22" LCD rear audio/video system with DirecTV and Sirius Satellite Radio. The van is also equipped with Polk Audio 6.5" Woofers and 1" Tweeters in the rear doors with crossovers and an amp. A Tripp-Lite 600W inverter provides power for the van’s audio/visual electrical system, and after all was said and done, the conversion ended up costing $4,200.

John runs a popular West Virginia Fan Site, which is where the van was originally posted. If you are the owner, we would love to hear from you, so feel free to drop us a line.
