Tailgating Games For The Party
Across the tailgate lots, you see many different games being played. There are so many different games, but here is what seems to be the most popular:
- Cornhole (bags, bean bag toss, tailgate toss) - Players throw bags of corn at a 6" hole on a platform that is ~25 feet away.
- Ladder Golf (Ladder ball) - Golf balls that are strung together by a rope are thrown at three horizontal bars, each scoring differently
- Beer Pong - Drinking game where you toss ping-pong balls into opponents cups of beer
- Washers (Washer Toss) - Similar to horseshoes, players throw washers at a box 20 feet way, trying to hit a cup
- Flippy Cup (Flip Cup) - Drinking game where you drink from a cup, then with one hand flip the cup making it land face down on the table
- Catch - With a football, baseball, frisbee. Pretty traditional, and always a stand-by
- Giant Jenga - This is like the in home game that we all know, except on a much larger scale. Pieces are made out of 2x4s
- Polish Horseshoes - Skill game where players throw frisbees at a pole holding bottles. Players typically must hold a drink at all times
