Created by Roy Henning and David Bauman, the Home Run Koozie Kit is a great product, even more so during the colder tailgating months.
The Home Run Koozie Kit started as an idea in the basement with supplies gotten at Menards, and after numerous prototypes, a production version was finalized.
The current theme of the koozies are baseball themed, though football should be coming in the future.
The velcro on the koozie is even strong enough to hold its weight if you were to apply velcro to a tailgating vehicle, wall, etc. I've tested this out with great success, as you can see in the photo gallery below.
Roy is open to doing custom orders if the need arises. You can find out more about the Home Run Koozie by emailing Roy or visiting their Facebook page here.
Stay tuned, as Tailgate Lot will be running a contest this fall to give away a Home Run Koozie Kit!
Sometimes, you just let the picture talk to you...

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The University of Texas at Austin will likely impose a fee for tailgating parties at Centennial Park before football games.
UT Parking and Transportation Services Director Booby Stone said Friday that the proposal is still being fine-tuned. No decision has been made on what tailgaters would be charged.
"We will be charging for reserved tailgating spaces in Centennial Park for the upcoming season and are in the final stages of solidifying our approach," Stone said.
Stone said more details will likely be available by mid-May and that no changes are planned for tailgating parties on other areas on the campus.

The Tailgating Command Unit, aka the Frogmobile is a family affair. Owned by brothers Tom and Tim Gibbons, and their wives Lorie (Tom's) and Jackie (Tim's), this rig was bought in 2005.
After about a year fixing it up, this rig has become a fixture at TCU home games, as well as some away games (Clemson, Norman, Austin, Phoenix, and Pasadena). The ambulance was in good working condition when purchased, needing no repairs on the body, engine, or generator.
Inside the Tailgating Command Unit is new purple and white upholstery, with the TCU logo embroidered in the seat backs. New paint and decals soon followed, as well as custom shirts and coozies bearing the Frogmobile logo.
The TCU is equiped with DirecTV, 36" flat panel and a 1250 watt sound system. Internal storage is occupied with tents, chairs, coolers and grills.
The TCU has also been used for a get away vehicle for two different weddings.
You can follow the Tailgating Command Unit at their website, http://frogmobile.net.

Minnesota Gophers' Head football coach Jerry Kill wants a party atmosphere for the upcoming football season. He wants input from the students on how to improve the program. He also says he plans to be tailgating at 7 A.M. when he retires!
You have to admire a coach that wants that!
