Texas Longhorn Fan Tailgates In Style

Texas Longhorn Tailgate VanCreative Mobile Interiors (CMI), a custom conversion company in Grove City, Ohio, recently delivered a high end custom Sprinter restaurant chain owner complete with all the fixins’. The Sprinter van was built to lock horns at University of Texas tailgate parties and for extensive travel with friends and family. Starting out on a 2008 170” extended cargo cab chassis, CMI added such tailgate essentials as a refrigerator and microwave; bathroom, and of course, an extensive audio/visual system.

The audio/visual package includes a Pioneer multimedia system and two 26” LCD TV monitors. One of the monitors flips up and down from the ceiling using motorized power lifts. The other monitor is mounted to the wall towards the back of the Sprinter on the driver’s side. This allows for TV viewing from any place in the Sprinter’s main cabin area. CMI removed the factory stereo and replaced it with the Pioneer system which consists of a CD/MP3/DVD/GPS and back-up camera. Other built-in amenities include a KVH In-Motion satellite dish, wireless internet, gaming jacks, and wireless headsets.

Texas Longhorn Tailgate Van InteriorThe most impressive feature in the Sprinter is six gorgeous high end leather captain chairs with custom embroidered Longhorn logos on each head rest. All the chairs swivel and recline and the two front chairs have six way power base controls. The four chairs in the main cabin area can swivel to face a round custom-built removable table located in the center. This results in a perfect meeting place for playing games or conducting business. Directly after the chairs is a custom built J-shaped sofa on the passenger’s rear sidewall that accommodates up to three people. Directly across the sofa is a bathroom, an essential for long trips and tailgate parties! Other custom built amenities include a cabinet with Corian countertops; another cabinet with a built in refrigerator; a shelf behind the J-lounge for holding a cooler; and a shelving unit to hold wine style bottles.
